Sunday, 18 March 2001

Monday, 19 March 2001       Departure to Düsseldorf – OK/USA

I tried to arrange the schedule against the following ideas:

- let the students/adults see as much of Germany as possible in a short time
- use the fast trains as much as possible
- concentrate on the cities rather than on the smaller towns around because it is their first time to Germany
- spend the a day at college when the host students will be there on a day release basis
- spend a morning in the host students’ companies
- common visit to a factory, university and computer museum
- allow as much time as possible with host students
- enjoy some common activities
- give them all the week end to experience life in the host families or have extra outings maybe to the nice smaller towns (like Bielefeld, Münster, Detmold etc.) in the area
